Spectrum Plastics Group, Dynacept Division announced it successfully completed ISO requirements and was awarded certification for ISO 9001:2008. The certificate was awarded on December 29, 2009, by UL DQS Inc, an ANAB accredited registrar.

The ISO 9001:2008 standard focuses on an organization's ability to meet and improve upon customer satisfaction and quality requirements. As part of the certification process, Dynacept established a Quality Management System to maintain its long-standing commitment to worldwide customer support and satisfaction.

The achievement of ISO 9001:2008 demonstrates Dynacept commitment to industry leadership and our employees' dedication to providing the highest quality products and services for our customers.

The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System dictates a number of requirements which an organization must fulfill to achieve registration. The ISO 9001:2008 standard is customer driven. Customer satisfaction must be monitored and measured through precise processes and documentation along with meeting customer expectations. It also includes a requirement for continual (i.e. planned) improvement of the Quality Management System.

"We are very proud and excited about receiving the ISO 9001:2008 certification in our facility. It brings the same level of process disciplines and quality management principles to our prototyping facility that we have utilized for years in our production facilities," stated Brian Straiton, General Manager of Dynacept, Spectrum Plastics Group’s rapid prototyping facility based in New York.
