Silicone Descriptions

At Spectrum Plastics Group, we've developed an innovative method for turning your CAD files into real, functional, silicone parts, very quickly. We have a variety of CNC equipment dedicated to plastic tooling, into which we can pour silicones, available in several durometers and colors, including medical grade.

Advantages of silicone castings compared to urethanes are wider working temperatures, increased tear strength, chemical resistance, and compatibility with sterilization processes. Examples include keypads, gaskets, bellows, membranes, and over-molded grips.
